8 November – 2022 – Singapore – Zoala Pte Ltd today proudly launched its innovative, AI-empowered application designed to communicate with adolescents who display early signs of mental health deterioration at EDUtech Asia 2022 from 9 – 10 November at the Sands Expo Singapore, stand J29.
Globally, mental well-being remains a challenge with 1 in 7, 10–19-year-olds experiencing mental health conditions , while in Singapore, the number of young people seeking help for mental health issues in 2021 has increased by 6% demonstrating the real risk of deteriorating mental resilience in adolescents compared to other age groups. To help deal with this, schools and education systems must be more intentional in addressing the mental health needs of their students. Implementing the Zoala Observer Solution is one way to support a more hospitable mental well-being system, simplifying the future of mental health by providing access to conversation data, monitoring of progress, and increased understanding of mental well-being.
The Zoala Artificial Intelligence chatbot is designed to nurture meaningful conversations with its users, focusing on connections that establish engagement and trust through understanding, resonating with the user’s emotions and intellect.
The Zoala Observer Solution software provides specific data, trends, and insights that schools and educators can use to gain awareness and provide timely support for wellness issues that adolescents may potentially face. These solutions enable the schools’ support groups and educators to connect with the adolescents to overcome communication barriers, provide a holistic education for mental wellness and solve the most critical challenges in early detection of potential mental illnesses among its students.
The Zoala application will be showcased at the Zoala Pte. Ltd. Journalists are welcomed to learn more about these innovations from the Zoala team at stand J29 at EduTech Asia.
