We welcome Rahul Vijayan as the co-founder of Zoala!

A big hello and warm welcome!

With great excitement, I introduce my good friend Rahul, who will join me at Zoala as our Co-Founder & Chief Product Office. Today marks a significant milestone in our journey as we welcome Rahul into our passionate team of innovators, builders, and forward-thinkers. Rahul will lead and be at the forefront of our product innovation, to create groundbreaking solutions that address adolescents’ needs and positively impact their lives. While I focus on our growth, and steering our technological direction. Together, we’ll drive Zoala to be a purpose-led organisation – dedicated to providing resources and support for the adolescents’ mental well-being.

Rahul is an experienced leader in the technology industry; he understands the market demands and can dynamically position quality solutions for business. Rahul has played various roles in his career being a developer to product management to tech sales. Rahul is one of those few people who can shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to building the solutions from scratch, focusing on prioritising user experience-centric strategy.

For a company like Zoala, whose mission is always to be there for our children’s mental wellness needs, enabling them to become the best version of themselves. Rahul is the perfect fit to lead our innovation engines and collaborate in running the business. Together, we aspire to harness the power of data and conversational and generative AI technology to build and deliver evidence-based interventions that will significantly improve adolescent mental well-being at scale. 

Rahul and I have built teams from zero to one, introduced and scaled disruptive technologies, and led teams to achieve their personal and professional best and toward making a difference. We love this. And while Rahul’s background has been in product and sales, and mine experiences in assisting start-ups, SMEs, and corporates in solving problems (building to serve, and that last), we share the same values and passions. We believe in finding meaning in our work, turning our unique perspective into a vision we can all support and work toward.

Moving forward, we’ll work with our growing, talented team to build and scale up Zoala with a shared vision, mission, and values. Rahul and I will work together and individually spearhead the areas where our strengths are. I have always admired Rahul’s leadership belief and am excited to co-create with him at Zoala. As we embark on this exciting chapter with Rahul, Zoala has the right team to accelerate our efforts to deliver innovative mental wellness solutions, creating a positive change in the society.
