Promoting the practical use of AI by teachers across different subjects
For AI software/hardware, platforms, L&T resources, and student activities
Participating schools must complete the following items within the project period:
Include ‘Developing AI-Empowered Education’ in the School Development Plan/Annual School Plan
Implement AI-assisted teaching in at least 3 subjects
(min. 2 levels each), developing 6+ teaching examples
Conduct at least 3 open lessons or demonstration lessons on AI-assisted teaching
Organize at least 3 sharing sessions on AI teaching experience (internal or external)
Organize at least 2 activities aiming to enhance students’ AI literacy and skills
Zoala provides end-to-end support for Hong Kong schools applying for the QEF Smart Education Funding — from planning and implementation through to open lessons, sharing sessions, and final reporting.
Zoala gives teachers real-time data on student emotional health and learning progress — helping schools demonstrate systematic AI use across subjects as required by the funding.
Zoala assists in designing AI-assisted teaching across subjects, aligning with existing curriculum (e.g., Science, Life Education, STEAM).
Practical professional training for teachers, supporting open lessons and sharing sessions including lesson planning and presentation materials.
Designing AI literacy activities for students to explore AI applications in a safe environment, with optional parent-child elements.
Designed to meet the actual needs of principals and teachers, avoiding excessive jargon.
Emphasizing responsible AI use and strict data privacy compliance for schools.
Full support from planning to reporting, reducing the administrative burden on schools.
