Your Daily ZOALA Experience

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be integral in:

  • Working collaboratively in teams composed of Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in a product development process that is primarily Agile/Scrum.

  • Taking ownership of the overall architecture and development of highly scalable frontend application that talks to API services and Lambda functions.

  • Implementing dynamic and interactive pages (e.g., using ReactJS) by consuming REST and GraphQL services.

  • Building backend services around advanced machine learning and predictive analytic models.

  • Designing and operationalising data pipelines using advanced data architectures deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Optimizing our developer toolchain to support instant provisioning of new services and infrastructure, fully automating deployment, and minimizing development friction.

  • Conducting releases to production environments and setting up post release reviews.

The Career Requirements

  • A Degree holder (Preferably with a degree in Computer Science, or related fields).

  • 5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

  • Familiarity with common stacks and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).

  • Knowledgeable in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e..g, HTML/CSS JavaScript, XML, jQuery) as well as 

  • Knowledgeable in multiple back-end languages (e.g., C# or PHP, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).

  • Experienced in CI/CD and build tools (Docker) with a solid understanding in source control (git).

  • Good understanding of standard software engineering methodology, e.g. unit testing, test automation, continuous integration, code reviews, design documentation.
