Your Daily ZOALA Experience

As a Business/Data Analyst, you will be integral in:

  • Working collaboratively in teams composed of Business, Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define problems, collect data, apply advanced economic and mathematical concepts, establish facts and draw valid conclusions,

  • Partnering with co-workers to recommend solutions to new and complex issues, develop innovative strategies, quantify the competitive performance of ZOALA’s platform and/or markets, evaluate the potential impact of changes, and report on its economic forecasts that affect the industry,

  • Collaborating with back-end, front-end engineers to build products and associated datasets for ZOALA’s AI-driven product needs,

  • Contributing to predictive/analytical modelling architectures, modelling standards, reporting, and data analysis methodologies,

  • Improving approaches to handle ever-increasing volumes of data efficiently,

  • Maintaining efficiency and reliability of production of the critical datasets,

  • Evaluating and proposing the best tooling and processes for data access and analysis,

  • Providing design and review support to the engineering teams working on data processing,

  • Developing and iterating on processes, tools, communication channels, and documentation to enable the best possible technical support experience at scale,

  • Developing reports for the team on performance forecasts, identify key drivers of performance, and work with coworkers to develop metrics to measure various business characteristics.

The Career Requirements

  • A Degree holder (Preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields).

  • 1-2 years of experience as a business/data analyst, or similar roles.

  • Experience in SQL and manipulating large/complex data sets.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.).
